Stephan's Quintet is a compact group of five galaxies in the constellation Pegasus, very close to ngc7331 a much larger (closer) galaxy. Four of the five galaxies in the Quintet are at a distance of about 300 million light years and the fifth is somewhat closer. Image made using the LX200R 14" telescope with the Starlight Xpress SXV H16 CCD camera. Exposure was 24 minutes (luminance only).
