The emission nebula M16 in Sagittarius, known as the Eagle Nebula, is the object featured in the best known Hubble Image "the Pillars of Creation". It was imaged more modestly here using the LX200R 14" telescope with the Starlight Xpress SXV H16 CCD camera. Exposures were 16 minutes for the Luminance and 2 minutes for each for the R, G and B
